Frequently asked questions

Do parts such as gaskets need to be replaced during maintenance?

Yes, depending on the make and type of boiler and what the manufacturer prescribes. We only replace what is needed for safe and reliable operation.

What if I do not want gaskets to be replaced?

Then we cannot take responsibility for the safe operation of your appliance. Safety always comes first for us.

How long does a boiler last?

A boiler lasts twelve to fifteen years on average. With good annual maintenance you usually get the longest service life.

What should the water pressure in my central heating system be?

The water pressure is ideally between 1.5 and 2.0 bar. You will find it on or next to the pressure gauge on your boiler. If the pressure is below 1.5 bar, the boiler cannot circulate the water properly and faults can occur.
